Kyrenia Castle
Standing since the 7th century A.D., when it was built by the Byzantines, this castle was restored and expanded by the Lusignans and the Venetians. It now contains two separate museums whose collections are well known globally. The Ancient Shipwreck Museum housing the oldest known sunken sea vessel is not to be missed. |
